Light Filtering Roller Shades
Soften the sun. Keep the view. The everyday workhorse of the South Florida window.

A light-filtering shade is what you want at 2 p.m. on a Tuesday — the view still open to the water, the glare off the floor gone, the furniture protected from UV fade without a room that feels half-closed.
Our light-filtering rollers are spec'd from a short list of trusted solar-screen mills. We work in 1%, 3%, 5%, and 10% openness grades depending on how much view you want to keep versus how aggressively you need to cut glare and heat. Every shade is UV-stable and engineered for coastal installs.
Options & Variants
1% Openness
Maximum privacy and glare control. Reads as a soft scrim from inside.
3% Openness
Our most-specified balance — meaningful glare cut with the view intact.
5% Openness
A lighter filter for rooms that face north, east, or are shaded by trees.
10% Openness
Minimal filtering, maximum view — for rooms that want the barest whisper of shade.
Linen Look
Soft open weaves that add texture in addition to filtering light.
The difference is in the last ten percent.
Heat Rejection
Solar screens reduce radiant heat through glass — measurable AC savings in Florida summers.
UV Protection
Blocks 90%+ of UV — protects hardwood floors, leather, and art from sun fade.
View Preservation
Unlike drapery, an open-weave roller keeps the water view open while cutting glare.
Coastal-Rated Fabric
Our spec'd fabrics are rated for direct coastal sun and salt-air exposure.
