Blackout Drapery

Triple-layer construction for rooms that need real darkness.

A blackout drape is not a black curtain — it's a carefully engineered three-layer assembly: face fabric, interlining, and opaque blackout liner, pleated together as one.

Our blackout drapery is built in our workroom to a three-layer spec: a face fabric of your choice, a cotton-flannel interlining for weight and thermal performance, and a dedicated blackout liner on the back. Combined with wrap-return hardware and an optional pelmet or ceiling-mount pocket, we deliver bedrooms and media rooms that go photographically dark at any hour.

Options & Variants

Bedroom Spec

Our standard for primary suites — three-layer panel with wrap-return rods.

Nursery Spec

Infant-room spec with extra-opaque liner and floor-break hem.

Media Room Spec

Black-lined face fabric, matte rods, and full ceiling-mount for theaters.

Layered Sheer + Blackout

Sheer at the window, blackout over — daytime light, nighttime dark.

Motorized Blackout

Silent-track motorized blackout drapery for bedrooms and theaters.

Why it matters

The difference is in the last ten percent.

Three-Layer Build

Face + interlining + blackout liner gives you weight, insulation, and true opacity.

Wrap-Return Rod

Rods that return to the wall eliminate edge light — the detail that separates blackout from dim.

Ceiling Mount Option

Mounting to the ceiling rather than the wall closes the top light gap entirely.

Thermal Performance

A proper blackout drape is also the best thermal drape — a meaningful win in Florida summers.
